Just a quick note about an error that we encountered when loading a wordpress blog page with an embedded youtube clip.

We noticed that all of a sudden our blog pages would take forever to load with a message in the status bar something like: read http://i2.ytimg.com

We thought it was something to do with a twitter plugin but after finally deactivating all our plugins and then deleting the plugin directory without solving the issue and hurling (unjustified) abuse at wordpress we finally found some info about this error.

As it turns out its something to do with Firefox and youtube clips. No point in us re-explaining everything, its all on the web and you can read more about it at half a page blog – read ytimg
